POINT TO
REMEMBER:
Baking cake is a pretty simple affair. However, you
must stick to the exact measure. For example, if the recipe says 1 teaspoon
baking powder, this is what you must use. Instead, if you use, 1/2 teaspoon
baking powder, you will not get the required soft and spongy texture. Also follow the process scrupulously, first
understand it and then start making in succession, just following the steps.
You can see the video given below for quick and better learning.
Let's start the process:
Break the eggs & put them in the bowl.
Beat the eggs thoroughly.
Add Maida to it.
Mix it well.
There should be no lumps in it.
Now grease the cake tin with oil & coat it well with
refined wheat flour.
Pre-heating
Process:
Put some salt in the bottom of Idli Maker & spread it
evenly before heating the idli maker.
Salt will help in distributing the heat in the idli maker
evenly from all sides.
The next step is to put the net in the Idli maker.
Switch on the flame & keep it on low.
Cover it with a lid & pre-heat for 5 minutes.
As long as the preheating occurs, Let's work on the other
part of the process :
Now add powdered sugar to the batter and mix it well.
Add melted butter.
Add pinch of salt.
Add Vanilla Essence & mix it thoroughly.
Now add baking powder &
mix again thoroughly.
Pour the batter in the cake tin. The top surface of the
batter should be even.
Now open the lid of Idli maker and put the baking pan in the
preheated Idli Maker.
Note: Cake tin is to be placed in the pre-heated idli maker immediately after the batter is ready.
Now cover it with a lid.
Bake it for 35-40 minutes, keeping the flame at low
Note: To check whether it's cooked or not, prick a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out very clean, it means cake is ready. Otherwise, you
can bake it further for 4-5 minutes.
Now take out the cake tin & let it cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
After a wait of 15 to 20 minutes, take the cake out.
Let's Cut it and celebrate!!!!!!!
