Ingredients: -
- 8 tablespoon full ground gram flour
(Besan)

tsp Sooji (semolina)

tsp turmeric powder

tsp sugar

tsp refined oil

tsp ginger and green chilli paste
-1/2
tsp citric acid
-1/2
tsp Eno Powder
-Water
is required as per pouring consistency
-Salt
½ tsp or according to your taste.
For
Tadka (Frying) : - 1 to 2 cups water.
-Oil
1 tsp
-1/2
tsp mustard seeds.

to 12 Leaves of Curry plant

leaves of cilantro

½ tsp of lemon juice
NOTE
: If you are diabetic , do not add sugar . It is for taste purpose only. It
will be still tasty without sugar.
STEP BY STEP METHOD:
·First
of all mix all the ingredients (Except Eno). Add water till pouring
consistency. Leave this batter for 10 to 15 minutes.
·Now
grease the Dhokla maker(bowl) and put the Dhokla stand on gas burner for
steaming.
·After
10-15 minutes add Eno to the batter prepared from all ingredients . Mix it well
to make the Dhokla fluffy and presentable in the end.
·Pour
the batter inside the bowl when there is full steam in the vessel. Cover the
lid on high heat.
·After
about 20 minutes check the Dhokla with tooth pick. If it comes out clean, it
means it is ready. Otherwise continue heat for some more time . Also you have
to take care that Dhokla leaves the walls of the bowl and does not cling to it.
·When
ready , remove it from the gas burner and leave it for 10 minutes.
·Meanwhile
prepare the Tadka by putting oil in a fry pan . When hot put the mustard seeds
, curry leaves in it.
.Then add water and sugar and switch off the knob of gas stove . Now add Lemon
Juice and Coriander leaves(Dhania) to it.
·Now
you can cut the Dhokla in any shape and pour Tadka liquid on it
·After
10 minutes the delicious mouth watering Dhokla is ready to eat.
.You can also put it in the refrigerator for some time before eating it.
