DIET PLAN FOR PIMPLES (ACNE)
Getting pimples when you are getting older is very embarrassing. Adolescents are more likely to suffer. Keeping your skin clean is important, but even more, so is keeping your diet clean.
What is acne?
It is an inflammatory disease involving the sebaceous glands in the skin particularly on the face, chest and upper back. These are commonly referred to as pimples, blemishes, spots etc.
How does Acne develop
When the pores in the skin become overstuffed with dead skin cells and excess sebum and later on when the overstuffed pore becomes infected with bacteria, inflammation occurs resulting in acne burst out.

Diet plan to avoid pimples:
Avoid sugary food , As you know having more sugary food increase the level of insulin which leads to the pore clogging cells.
Do not take fried and processed foods
Drink more liquid, it will help to flush out your toxins and also boost the blood flow. Drink lemon juice daily. Cut down your tea and coffee as you know it dehydrates your body.
A low-fat diet such as low-fat milk and milk products, lean meat, egg white, tofu, and soya should be included in your diet.
Avoid stress because it weakens your immunity power. Make your immunity super. Probiotics help to make immunity strong. Low-fat yogurt is a good source of probiotics.
Exercise
Flush out your toxins by doing exercise but keep in mind that sweat from exercise can also lead to breaking out by irritating your skin. So it’s important to take shower after a workout. Swimming and cycling are good exercises. The face has more oil-producing glands than any other part of the body. It’s important to wash your face thoroughly.
Have sprouts, fruits and vegetables more and more. Let us have a look at some of the fruits that help to reduce acne
Apples, Apricots rich in fiber
Bananas:- Have bananas daily. They help combat constipation. Which is one of the main cause of acne?
Some other fruits like cherries ( packed with fibers and antioxidants )cantaloupes, figs, grapes, papayas, mangoes are also good at fighting acne.
Cucumber juice, carrot juices help to cool and calm your skin.
Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C which help to keep the skin firm and gives a red color to the skin. It also stimulates skin circulation.
Peppermint helps in digestion and thus relieves the stress.
Add spices to your diet like garlic, red chilly powder. These works as super antibiotics.
Always use hair products before you wash your face so that a pimple producing residue can be washed away.
Use sunscreen lotion every time you are in the sun . Look for noncomedogenic on the label which means it should not clog your skin’s pores.
Limit your salt intake. Avoid chips, canned food etc. They are high in salt content.
Several studies have shown that all phones are hotbeds for germs. To keep the germs from landing on your face wipe the surface of your phone with a little hand sanitizer each day.
Avoid alcohol, smoking, soda, processed foods, tea, coffee etc.
