Reasons
of water retention
:-
Pregnancy, menopause,
PMS, hormonal fluctuations lead to water retention in the body and can lead to
substantial discomfort.
Lack of sufficient
amount of vitamin B complex and proteins in body lead to water retention.
One more reason is
excessive intake of foods having salt like pickles , canned food etc cause the
body to retain considerable amount of fluids.
Note:- fluid retention is often seen in chronic
kidney disease , lung disease, cirrhosis of liver and arthritis etc.
Nature
has variety of foods with diuretic properties:-
Two teaspoon of apple
cider vinegar mixed in a glass of water taken 3-4 times in a day helps in the
removal of excess fluid from the body .
Eat fennel seeds after
lunch and dinner , it also help to get rid of excess water
Cranberry juice ½
glass in a day have amazing effect in removal of waste.
Eat salad (radish ,
onion, tomato, cucumber, lettuce ,parsley ) before lunch and dinner. It helps
the kidney to flush out waste.
Green tea acts as a
natural diuretic.
Some fruits like
bananas , papaya, strawberry helps to get rid of waste.
Drink
at least 2 liter of water in a day . well hydrated body have lesser chance to
retention of water.
