Important Tips To Reduce Dark Circles Under Eyes



Dark circles under the eyes tend to age your appearance more than wrinkles or grey hair. There are many reasons of dark circles like-  lack of sleep, unhealthy diet, mental or physical stress, working for long hours in front of a computer, hormonal changes , hereditary, improper functioning of kidneys, anemia etc.

A blocked nose can result in dark circles under your eyes because the veins around your sinuses are darkened and dilated.

Sun exposure:- This can increase melanin production.

People who use  Kajal or Surma very frequently and do not take it off before going to bed at night can also develop dark circles under the eye. Make sure you wash your face clean of cosmetics before going to bed & you will notice an improvement.

Allergies:- Allergies are common cause of skin discoloration under the eyes.



 You can minimize the appearance of dark circles by following these tips :-

How great would it be to treat yourself with natural ingredients . Most of these remedies are available in your kitchen.

CUCUMBER AND POTATO JUICES :-  Potato consists of natural bleaching agents while cucumber is a very good skin toner. Apply fresh juices of cucumber and potato around your eyes with the help of a cotton ball . it will be better to apply the juices for entire night for quicker and more effective results.

Cold tea bags:- soak green tea bags in chilled water and apply it on the eyes regularly. Pat it dry and you will see your eyes rejuvenated.

Apple slices:- it consists of tannic acid that will help to lighter the skin tone . Place the slices of apple under the eyes and leave it for half an hour. Wash the face with cold water.

Soak few saffron strands in milk overnight  and prepare a paste. Apply it over the dark circles and massage for a while before washing the eyes.

Almond oil :- Apply almond oil over the dark circles before going to bed and wash it off with cold water next morning. Practise it at least for 1 month.

Rose water:- Dip cotton balls in rose water and place them on your eye lids . Remove them after 10 minutes. Do it twice a day . It will completely remove your dark circles.

Tomato juice and Lemon juice are very effective to remove dark circles. But sometimes people feel irritation after applying this. Do not worry instead of applying juice you can drink juice of tomato and lemon daily. Effect will be same.

Crushed mint leaves:-  Apply crushed mint leaves over eyes for 5 to 10 minutes , then gently wipe it off with clean and cold cloth.

Some important points:-

Consume lots of fruits and vegetables . The fibrous contents will clear all the toxins from the body.

Water and juices:- water promotes proper blood circulation around the eyes and prevents blood accumulation. So drink at least 8-9 glass of water everyday it helps to flush off toxins.

Treat your Allergies.

Increase the Hb level of your body :- When he Hb level reduces the oxygen carrying molecule within the blood is reduced , the result is skin darkening.

Meditation :- It will not only decrease your dark circles and  will also keep your mind calm.

Yogic exercises:- Yogic exercises are good for your internal and external beauty. A daily exercise along with deep breathing helps blood circulation , oxygenation and controlling stress. Do various breathing exercises like Pranayam . This is a very helpful eye care and removes your dark circles naturally.
