Diet to Control Gall Bladder Stone

Gall stones are formed by high level of cholesterol, bilirubin , bile etc in the gall bladder. Cholesterol stones are very common.

How gall stones are formed?

Gall stones are formed when the bile contains excessive amount of cholesterol. When there is not enough bile to saturate the cholesterol then cholesterol begins to crystallize and you get  gall stones.    

Symptoms

Pain in the upper abdomen

Backache

Nausea

Vomiting

Indigestion

Home remedies for gall stones  are:-

Sunlight exposure converts the excess cholesterol reserves stored inside the skin into vitamin D2 which is later used by the liver to make vitamin D3.

Vitamin C makes cholesterol more water soluble, allowing  our  body to better eliminate excesses.

Apple cider vinegar

It stops the liver for making cholesterol .Have 2 teaspoon of ACV with 1 tsp of lemon juice  in a glass of lukewarm water on an empty stomach in the morning . Continuing it for weeks  together will help to dissolve the gall stones.

Lemon juice

Have 4 tsp of juice in a glass of warm water (Twice in a day) Just as vinegar stops your liver for making cholesterol lemon juice also do the same work.

Have turmeric in your daily diet . it increases the solubility of bile.

Apple juice

Take 1 glass of apple juice daily as it  is rich in pectin which is effective against gall stones. You can also eat 1-2 apples daily rather than juice.

Pear juice

Your pear shaped gall bladder can be cleaned with the fruit whose shape it takes, yes the pear itself. Pears have pectin which binds to cholesterol filled gallstone. So  they are flushed out of your body .

How to have pear juice for gall stones

Mix 1/2 glass of pear juice,1/2 glass of hot water and add 2 tabs honey. Have it thrice in a day.

Mix juice:

Mix juice of cucumber, carrot and beetroot will help to detoxify the liver and gall bladder. Take it twice a day.

Some tips to avoid stones

Avoid constipation as it aids in forming gallstones.

Have coffee everyday (once in a day) as it helps to increase the flow of bile.

Use such spices and herbs that stimulate liver as well as gall bladder like turmeric, dried ginger, black pepper, asafoetida (Hing).

Do not skip breakfast; it can make you more prone to getting a gall stone.

Drink plenty of liquids.
